Intel's site on porting code to the IA-64 (http://developer.intel.com/design/ia64/devinfo.htm) gives information on Linux, NT, SCO, HP-UX, and Solaris -- but there's not a peep about any BSD UNIX. I hope that this doesn't mean that FreeBSD plans to self-destruct by failing to port to the next generation of Intel CPUs! Why were the BSDs so conspicuously omitted? --Brett Glass To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
