Hi, I have been trying to install FreeBSD 4.2 onto a machine using a Mylex raid controller as the boot device. The boot cd identifies the drive okay, I can format the system and successfully install the packages, however when I reboot I get an OS not found message. I tried to compile a kernel from the emergency VTY but it fails during the make. What am I missing? How do I install FreeBSD onto a system that uses a Raid for the root partition. -Max To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
