Hi freebsd-multimedia.
How can I watch TV under "All in Wonder"?
I've found i Internet, that there are Gatos-Driver, which work under FreeBSD.
And that this Gatos is included now in X.org.
I've installed X.org, and really, there are drivers to ATI-Cards,
(--) ATI(0): ATI 3D Rage Pro graphics controller detected.
(--) ATI(0): Chip type 4742 "GB", version 4, foundry UMC, class 0, revision 0x01.
(--) ATI(0): AGP bus interface detected; block I/O base is 0x9000.
(--) ATI(0): ATI Mach64 adapter detected.
(!!) ATI(0): For information on using the multimedia capabilities
of this adapter, please see http://gatos.sf.net.
But what have I to do now? On which /dev/ have I to redirect xawtv?
xawtv -hwscan output:
This is xawtv-3.94, running on FreeBSD/i386 (5.4-RELEASE)
looking for available devices
port 61-61
type : Xvideo, image scaler
name : ATI Mach64 Back-end Overlay Scaler
