Thanks! Vinum comes to mind, but when I looked at it about 2 years ago I found it rather puzzling. We bought a Mylex RAID card instead (since we had SCSI drives) and just setup the card with the two drives at RAID1 and voila. Seemed much easier than figuring out Vinum. For IDE I would suggest you read up on Vinum. Documentation is likely better today and Greg Lehey (sp?) who looks after Vinum can be found on these lists as well. gf =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Gerry Freymann - Senior Systems Manager eagle.ca Internet Services www.eagle.ca Voice: 905-373-9313 Fax: 905-373-1801 http://www.eagle.ca/support =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
