Hmmmmm...... I haven't had such good luck running molecular
modeling (structural biochemistry) s/w compiled for Linux/Mesa or
my FBSD system (just writing to X, of course, I've no glide-aware
hardware).  However, I must say that the quality of the
programming, based on other s/w I've tried to compile from the
same people, who shall remain nameless, indicates a certain lack
of appreciation for the nuances, e.g., multiple free-ing of
same pointer ;-), so it is very possible it was the modeling s/w
and not the Linux emulation at fault.
