measuring MB transmitted via ipfw is what i do....i wrote a perl script to
grab the numbers and store them in a db file.  i also have the script
generate a web page for the specific customer that gets transfered to a
web server on a daily basis so that the customers can see how much they
have transmitted for the month on any given day....it shouldn't be too
much of a problem to use a different database to store the info...
