If this is Vinum (as I strongly suspect), it's probably a known (but hard to reproduce) bug. Take a look at http://www.vinumvm.org/vinum/how-to-debug.html and check in particular that you have the symbols for frames 7 to 9. Also, in this case, knowing exactly the circumstances would be of great assistance. This includes the history and log files, but if you have other information, it would be good.
