Yea, commits made to just mark up tags are bogus and time wasting. And I need to apologize for this stuff, I only glanced at Daniel's diffs. In honesty, I was paying more attention to my POSIX stuff and the elections ending in an unbalanced and unfair aftermath. Note, I'm only apologizing for the mixed content/whitespace.
