I found your post via a Google search. In your build log you are attempting to read from http://altosdesign.com/aacgain/alvarez/. That directory no longer exists. The Unix build system was rewritten in this latest version 1.8. The files you need are in the CVS tree. You no longer need to unzip a bz2 file. Please see the updated aacgain README and README.linux files for the revised build instructions. http://mp3gain.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mp3gain/aacgain/README?revision=1. 16 http://mp3gain.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mp3gain/aacgain/linux/README.linux ?revision=1.2 If you run into any BSD-specific build issues, please let me know. If you could give me ssh access to a BSD system, I am willing to try and help resolve them. Dave Lasker Altos Design, Inc.
