Well - I know this was from a long time ago; I've been laid up with
a bad back for quite a while; and am just now able to sit up long enough
to read mail.

Anyway, I thought I'd respond to Amancio's question. I use FreeBSD
at home as a uucp connection to several sites on the east coast.

I use FreeBSD at work as another endian host for the SAS/C Cross-Platform
C compiler (an IBM-370 targetted ANSI C/C++ system.) My goal is to
address all the endian issues in the product, without having to set
up a different (i.e. windows) build environment. I was even able to
talk my managers into getting me a fancy Dell P-90 to do this with...
Also, we use it, along with a SunOs 4.1.x box, as our BSD reference,
when we need to determine "Now just what does UNIX do with this function?"
[We have some other SysV boxes to answer that end of the question.]
