Someone want to add an appropriate question/answer for this to the
FAQ? It's getting to be a VERY FAQ, and is definate material for the
FAQ, even after we get the mail handbook section written...
Thanks
Gary
P.S.Yes, I know I should probably just go write it myself and commit
it, since I have commit privs, but I've got a lot to do, and I'm
also off the air from tomorrow (for a while) ... Thanks.

Subject: mx records & sendmail
Hi:
I am trying to setup a DNS & mail server. I would like to have e-mail
addresses like: name@my_domain.
I am having problems configuring the mail server. DNS works OK, mail server
works OK as long as I direct messages to a specific host.
Could someone give me some hints and/or pointers ?
I already configured the hosts file for DNS with an MX record, and I also
did some changes to the sendmail.cf file following the TCP/IP Network Admin
book from O'Reilly, however I am getting the following error:
----- The following addresses had delivery problems -----
<sz@cabonet.net.mx> (unrecoverable error)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
554 MX list for cabonet.net.mx. points back to dns
554 <sz@cabonet.net.mx>... Local configuration error
Thanks a lot
