hi. i have a Verizon XV6700 (aka HTC Apache aka Audiovox UT Starcomm PPC-6700). usbd loads it under the generic ugen0 device. usbd will report different vendor/device codes depending on whether you have the XV6700 in sync mode (default) or in modem mode (i.e., WMODEM running and started). but either way usbd just drops it into ugen0. this is what i tried so far: Freebsd 6.2R, kernel compiled with device ucom device umodem device umct device ubsa device ubser device uftdi device uplcom device uvisor device uvscom this would seem to indicate that the device has not been added yet. any pointers to docs on how to get this device added? i haven't done much with internals, but would be happy to do whatever is within my capability if someone can get me going. thanks. best, chuck
