I built world with 

/etc/make.conf

KERNCONF=DEBUG
DEBUG_FLAGS=-g
WITH_DEBUG=YES

and then rebuilt python.  I am not sure what needs to be done in the debugger
however ?

Note, this box is also in the netperf cluster, zoo.freebsd.org. 
port 2010 off pm25 (.191)
