In your FreeBSD handbook, you write: > 8.8. How about FreeBSD and Linux? How do I boot FreeBSD from LILO? > > work. If you put LILO at the start of your Linux boot partition instead > of in the MBR, you can boot LILO from the FreeBSD boot manager. This is > what I do. I have installed Linux in the second partition of my DOS drive (i think the partition is called 'wd0s2'). What options do I give at the FreeBSD Boot: prompt in order to boot from this partition ? I have tried wd(0,s2) wd(0,a) etc. Do I need a filename also ? -vikas
