Based on that, I'm guessing they implement a function/field in liblua.
bhyveload uses the host userboot by design and that's not going to change f=
or
any number of reasons, so you'll have to stick with CSM/UEFI because our
userboot won't include their liblua changes.

I'm told that you should reach out through Stormshield's official support
channels, and they may be able to provide you further guidance of booting it
with CSM/UEFI in a VM.

Closing this because there's really nothing we can do here- sorry!
