Dear Sir,

As mentioned in GDM ports changelog for FreeBSD. It just release
gdm-3.14.1. I installed Xfce along with GDM. But GDM won't launch login
screen at all. Only a black screen. I know that GDM runs in the background.

I alos posting this problem in FreeBSD forum
https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/gdm-gnome-3-fails-to-show-login-screen.49127/

The code in /usr/local/etc/gdm/Xsession seems has so many broken links to
non-existent apps. Is it intended for Linux ?

Is this also related to PC-BSD as in
http://lists.pcbsd.org/pipermail/testing/2014-July/009362.html ?

Both my card Nvdia and Intel has the same result.

I tried to install SLiM, and it works. Despite that it takes long to get
login screen.

Is there patches for FreeBSD to solve this problem ?

Thank you.

Gunawan
