https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=264237 Bug ID: 264237 Summary: csh or tcsh does not display emoji Product: Base System Version: 13.1-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jszhao@yeah.net Created attachment 234208 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=234208&action=edit screenshot to demo the bug Hi there, I have run FreeBSD 13.1 RELEASE, and the default shell is csh, which is tcsh actually, I think. I have a Chinese input method, which could input emoji. The problem is when I input an emoji, for example: 🥰 after the csh prompt, it displayed as: ``` zjs@freebsd:~ % \U+1F970 🥰: Command not found. ``` The csh could display some emoji, for example: ❤️️ I have test the same input on the 44bsd-csh. It could give correct response. Best, Jinsong -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
