Good morning! When i boot my FreeBSD 4.6 WS, it hangs during rc at this point until i hit CRTL+C: sendmail-submit Jul 24 10:16:36 KATWS_PG sm-mta[103]: My unqualified host name (KATWS_PG) unknow n; sleeping for retry While this wouldn't be a problem as i like to hit CRTL+C occasionally, i wonder if this might mean i have unsent mail flying around on my WS. The error occured after i've added a line to /etc/hosts: 127.0.0.1 KATWS_PG Please explain a sendmail idiot WTF this message means, and why it still appears after setting sendmail_enable="NO" in /etc/rc.conf. -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
