Setting kern.evdev.rcpt_mask to 12, that is what aforementioned patch is
addressing, effectively disables any driver's gesture handling, so you would
not notice any difference between atp and wsp.

IMO, submitting of a separate PR regarding handling of obsolete sysmouse
protocol is a wasting of CPU time spent in incrementing of PR counter. Plea=
se,
try wsp_evdev_support.patch patch on 13+ before!
