Hello People: I've got a couple amd64 boxes that started out live as 5.x but are currently running 6.2-p6. I can install ksh93 port on a fresh 6.x install w/o problem but on these machines it fails thusly: # portupgrade -b ksh93 ---> Upgrading 'ksh93-20070328' to 'ksh93-20070628' (shells/ksh93) ---> Building '/usr/ports/shells/ksh93' ===> Cleaning for ksh93-20070628 ===> Extracting for ksh93-20070628 => MD5 Checksum OK for ksh93/INIT.2007-06-28.tgz. => SHA256 Checksum OK for ksh93/INIT.2007-06-28.tgz. => MD5 Checksum OK for ksh93/ast-ksh.2007-06-28.tgz. => SHA256 Checksum OK for ksh93/ast-ksh.2007-06-28.tgz. ===> Patching for ksh93-20070628 ===> Configuring for ksh93-20070628 ===> Building for ksh93-20070628 package: update /usr/ports/shells/ksh93/work/bin/execrate bin/package: ./pkg48245.exe: Permission denied package: cc: seems to be a cross-compiler package: set HOSTTYPE to something other than the native freebsd6.amd64 *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/shells/ksh93. ** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa /tmp/portupgrade.48021.0 env UPGRADE_TOOL=portupgrade UPGRADE_PORT=ksh93-20070328 UPGRADE_PORT_VER=20070328 make ** Fix the problem and try again. ** Listing the failed packages (*:skipped / !:failed) ! shells/ksh93 (ksh93-20070328) (permission denied) ---> Packages processed: 0 done, 0 ignored, 0 skipped and 1 failed I can build package on another 6.2 box and install w/o problem but I'd like to figure this out. I've been in contact with the port maintainer and we're both stumped.
