https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=230172 Bug ID: 230172 Summary: FreeBSD 11.2 fails to boot on Celeron J1900 after upgrade from 11.1 Product: Base System Version: 11.2-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: maxburke@gmail.com I am seeing the issue mentioned in this thread: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/freebsd-upgrade-11-1-to-11-2-fails-to-boot-11-2-kernel-no-vb-no-nvidia.66538/ I upgraded from FreeBSD 11.1 to 11.2 via freebsd-update but the system fails to boot. As mentioned in the thread, after the "Booting message", but before the screen clears and prints the copyright message, the boot process stops. The system is an ASRock Q1900-ITX; there is no discrete video adapter. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
