Hi y'all, I just got the CTM deltas applied that overhauled the sound driver scheme. Referring to <tanimura@FreeBSD.org>'s message on Monday July 12: > If there are no objection, I will commit on the evening of the next > Wednesday. Y'all may not realize what "next Wednesday" means to us U.S. southern folk. "Next Wednesday" means "a week after this coming Wednesday". So y'all put this patch out there a whole week early AFAIAC. ;) Be that as it may... Does this blurb in src/sys/conf/NOTES still apply? [...] # Only build Linux API modules and plus those parts of the sound system I need. #makeoptions MODULES_OVERRIDE="linux sound/snd sound/pcm sound/driver/maestro3" [...] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ etc. If not, how would we do such a thing presently? -- thx, Paul Seniura System Specialist State of Okla.
