After many tries, I think I'm getting closer. The server seems to work fine and secure access appears to be OK too. However, when I attempt to connect to a "web" with a FrontPage client, I get errors from the following: On the client (wecerr.txt): 04/09/2001 08:15:11 An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details. fpexec log: 123 Blacksheep# cat fpexec.log [2001-04-09 08:15:13]: uid: (nobody/nobody) gid: (nogroup/nogroup) cmd: /_vti_bin/shtml.exe [2001-04-09 08:15:13]: cannot stat directory: (/usr/local/www/data) suexec log: nothing httpd access log: [09/Apr/2001:08:15:12 -0700] "OPTIONS / HTTP/1.1" 200 - [09/Apr/2001:08:15:12 -0700] "GET /_vti_inf.html HTTP/1.1" 200 1716 [09/Apr/2001:08:15:13 -0700] "POST /_vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc HTTP/1.1" 200 115 [09/Apr/2001:08:15:13 -0700] "OPTIONS / HTTP/1.1" 200 - httpd error log: nothing Like I said, I think I'm close. Does anybody know where my problem might lie (other than the fact that I'm trying to use MS software on a FBSD system :) )? Thanks for your help!
