If I use the exact same hardware but run Linux (which is easy to do with the Raspberry Pi just by swapping out the SD card), the keyboard works fine, no issue. This leads me to believe that the problem is in the FreeBSD kernel. Also, if there is a problem with the hardware causing I/O errors, shouldn't the driver be kicking messages out?
