I am expecting this problems, too. I only tried 5.2-RC out. pcm0: <AudioPCI ES1373-B> port 0xe000-0xe03f irq 11 at device 12.0 on pci0 pcm0: <Cirrus Logic CS4297A AC97 Codec> FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Installed devices: pcm0: <AudioPCI ES1373-B> at io 0xe000 irq 11 (1p/1r/0v channels duplex default) I discovering problems with a lag from less then a second. This happends to all programs which are take use of /dev/dsp. (mplayer, xmms and so on.) best regards, Gordon -- Gordon Bergling <GBergling@bsd-network.org> http://www.0xFCE3.net/ PGP Fingerprint: 7732 9BB1 5013 AE8B E42C 28E0 93B9 D32B C76F 02A0 RIPE-HDL: MDTP-RIPE "There is no place like 127.0.0.0/8"
