Read the port documentation - use use.perl port to use perl 5.6.1. Be sure to remove and reinstall the perl ports after you do this. If you want to change back, use.perl system This may leave some cruft in /etc/make.conf if you switch back and forth a number of times - you can clean it up by hand. - Mike H. Can anyone tell me how can I compile mod_perl from ports so it uses perl 5.6.1 (also installed via ports)? Right now, it seems that mod_perl is trying to use perl 5.005 as well as the other perl modules that I try to install via ports: Mason, DBI-Pg, DBD-Pg. Thanks for help!
