Hi,

I have tried to get the disk geometry down with several variations, but I am
still getting a 'missing operating system' message. FreeBSD is the ONLY OS
on the system. My server has a DPT Raid controller with 6 2GB drives in a
RAID 5 configuration.

I've checked the boot sector after the install and there is only one
partition identified. This is the partition entry:

80 01 01 00 A5 35 E0 FF
20 00 00 00 A0 5B 75 02

However, when I read the cyl/head/sector that the partition is looking at,
the OS boot software is not present.

Do you have any idea where the OS is being copied or what I might be doing
wrong?

Thanks,

Norm Carpenter
