This is interesting.  When I boot it lists the PCI devices and when it lists
the adaptec it shows it being on PCI bus 1. ;-)

Just as a side note, I tried tyans new bios for my motherboard and it didn't
fix the problem, but it did change the order of the BUS listing in the mptable
output (ie before it listed ISA first, now it lists PCI first -- still only one
PCI though).

I did try the patch, but I still couldn't boot.  It locked up in the same
place.  The only difference I saw was not seeing those FREEING messages.

I am going to try to contact tyan about the PCI bus not being listed in the
MP table.
