FYI: The recent upgrade of ghostscript-gnu (7.05 is current) seems to have fixed whatever problem was plaguing the PDF Handbook build. On a system with the most recent ghostscript-gnu, I just finished a successful build of all docs in (among other formats) PDF, and, well, "it works". intruder:handbook% ls -ls *pdf* 4048 -r--r--r-- 1 bmah staff 4126931 Apr 28 16:07 book.pdf 2448 -r--r--r-- 1 bmah staff 2476723 Apr 28 16:02 book.pdf.gz 2448 -r--r--r-- 1 bmah staff 2476853 Apr 28 16:02 book.pdf.zip Bruce.
