UDMA66 isn't supported in freebsd (I think :) I have had also had this problem. To solve it just disable UDMA in the BIOS. /Johan Willard -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]För Eugene Jeffers II Skickat: den 4 augusti 2000 14:39 Till: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Ämne: Help, Harddive question Hey, I am not sure if this is where I should be sending in this question, but here I go. I have a Maxtor ATA66 17.4 gig harddrive. It works fine under Windows and Linux, but FreeBSD only recognizes it as a 2014MB (2 gig) harddrive. Do you have any ideas as to why this is happening? I would apreciate any info.
