I would definitely be fine with having libedit be the default.  I only made it
be optional for POLA but do not have information on what anyone would actually
notice.

While the patch uses the ports version, is it better to use that or the base
version of libedit?  I do not recall if the base versions of contrib libraries
are primarily for just the base system or generally usable by ports.
