Is anybody using one of these with either 1.1X or 2.0.5R that can tell me what features they have, and what are missing WRT the `Ideal' (tm) CD-ROM drive. The reason I am asking is that I have a choice between the Sony, (A$389), and a Toshiba quad speed, (which is about A$175 more expensive) If the Sony doesn't suffer much in the feature department and is happy under FreeBSD, I could probably afford to buy 2, - 1 for my DOS box as well. I couldn't find any details about particular models of CD-ROM's on www.freebsd.org so I'm asking here... _-_|\ Terry Dwyer E-Mail: tdwyer@netbsd08.dn.itg.telecom.com.au / \ System Administrator Phone: +61 9 491 5161 Fax: +61 9 221 2631 *_.^\_/ Telecom Australia Telstra Corporation MIME capable mailer v Perth WA ( I do not speak for Telstra or Telecom )
