The fact that CAM and the old SCSI can't coexist in the tree 
is purely a design decision by Justin. 
I managed to almost get it working in about 6 hours using mostly
automatic tools (patch -D etc.)
in October last year.

personally I think he should spend the 2 or 3 days it would take 
to be able to do this.

or at least make his own branch for a while..
