Dear Sato san: May I ask a few questions? > I hope you will be so kind as to discuss import of non-FDP-compliant >documents before moving forward on. What's the philosophy behind the FreeBSD Documentation Project? No doubts there will be much better if all document have all kinds of translation. AFAIK, it aims to answer their questions so they can start translating documentation as quickly as possible. However, The real problem in fact is we have to create some native, tutorial, useful document, and these document must have "FDP-compliant" which defined(by you) English must always first. Or do you think to write in native language(ie. Japanese) is more difficult than non-native language? Please answer "yes" or "no." If "no," please list the differences between native and non-native. Finally, as you said: "there is no common view about adding something other than the translations into there (AFAIK)", can you explain why the following document exist? fr_FR.ISO8859-1/articles/ddwg fr_FR.ISO8859-1/articles/ip-aliasing fr_FR.ISO8859-1/articles/make-world fr_FR.ISO8859-1/articles/ntfs fr_FR.ISO8859-1/articles/ppp it_IT.ISO8859-15/books/unix-introduction I am not trying breaking the FDP rule, just want some flexible space. I 'll reproduce zh-tut in English version in few months. And hope you can help us instead of heckle zh_TW only. Thanks. If you feel that question's unfair, please give me your vision for FDP's spirit, philosophy and all the game rules. Make it clear and honest, without finessing or posturing. Sincerely, chinsan
