	People,	
	This is a difficult report to diagnose.  I've installed xmms
and it's behaviour seems reasonable to me.  I note that it has buffer
options for the oss output plugin, try reducing the values.
Personally, I'm not in the mood to go digging in the xmms source to
understand what it's doing.
