from reading the man page: Setting up a Jail Directory Tree This shows how to setup a jail directory tree: D=/here/is/the/jail cd /usr/src make hierarchy DESTDIR=$D make obj make depend make all make install DESTDIR=$D cd etc make distribution DESTDIR=$D NO_MAKEDEV=yes cd $D/dev sh MAKEDEV jail cd $D ln -sf dev/null kernel can someone tell me how much disk space I should need to allocate *per* jail? and each jail will require its own /usr/local directory, etc? there is no way of 'nfs mounting' an existing /usr to /jail/usr so that it can share those resources, which would be especially helpful when doing an upgrade of the system? :) Marc G.
