This comment and maintainer-feedback serves as acknowledgement by the python@
team. 11 days does not constitute timeout.

If the very minimal reproducer is devel/py-build, then I cannot reproduce it in
poudriere, or any other method that isolates build environments. I will keep
repeating the fact that building Python packages, FreeBSD or not, in the same
environment as your runtime is not supported.

This probably does not need to be said, but reverting to the previous version
is not a viable option.
