I just checked, and /usr/sbin/sendmail is already a link to /usr/sbin/mailwrapper. You do not need to remove /usr/sbin/sendmail, instead you simply edit /etc/mailer.conf. mailer.conf is used my mailwrapper and sets the name of the programm to be called when either sendmail, send-mail, mailq or newaliases is called.
