https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=293420 Bug ID: 293420 Summary: usb: missing support for USB Attached SCSI protocol (UASP) Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bms@FreeBSD.org Quite disturbing is that as recently as 2018-08-01, FreeBSD did not support USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP). A quick search through the man pages for FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE suggests this is still the case. A search on Phabricator turns up nothing new. hps@ passed away sadly so a lot of FreeBSD USB support work stalled. Apparently the lack of stability of its xHCI Streams support blocked UASP. At the time, not all xHCI controllers supported streams, but it is most likely commodity by now. This means I can't access my HDDs from FreeBSD w/o umass fallback. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
