Just like SMPng, OP intends to have a design doc before it really starts writing code (there is some code being worked on atm, but not much related to packaging itself). So did pkg_* have a design document, and/or does libh? I didn't think so. You can't have a chicken before an egg. Code that gets properly designed usually lasts longer (Granted, pkg_* sure outlived predictions at 7 years, but anyway) as a principle, particularly in the real world, which you purportedly do for a living. Hence, we're still in design stage because not enough people have bothered to subscribe to the lists and discuss things. Try again. --=20 wca --LWVQOr/QoF/fPPTS Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.3 (FreeBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE6qTdDF47idPgWcsURAsw/AJ0dGRNH6Bl82mJXLYH65rzk3I9NlACfWrfp w+hCOGyVxBr8Q3oe9JoupCw= =1d8S -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --LWVQOr/QoF/fPPTS-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
