Hi all, I've just installed FreeBSD on my new hardware and there seem to be big problems with the integrated network interfaces. The major facts: - FreeBSD 5.2.1-RC2 - i386 - PCI Davicom 9102A - dc (DEC Tulip) driver - "no carrier" although the connection is ok - "failed to force tx and rx to idle state" when trying to get an IP by DHCP, trying to determine the media type manually etc. - the MAC address seems to be correct (have read about people who had the problem that the MAC was 00:00:00:00:00:00) - most recent version of if_dc.c Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. M. Keller
