It's great that your helping people, but this message could help more people if you provided the relevant context from the links.

Mailing lists have a lot of trade-offs, but the biggest upside is that we can keep and reference the discussions. GitHub gists and reddit are not accessible to as many people or platforms as this list reaches, nor will the availability be as long.
