Hi there, I have had some problems configuring my 3com503 ethernet card in my system. FreeBSD cannot recognize `ed0', I do not know why. It seems there is a conflict between my CD-drive and my Ethernet card. I believe the problem is somthing related to FreeBSD because my system works properly under MS-DOS with the same configuration. Can anybody help me? My mouse is not working either, but I found something in the FAQ I have not tried. Thank you. Now, my system configuration: I own: HP Vectra VL2 486 SX/ 25Mhz 8 Mb RAM 170 Mb Quantum LPS 170A Hard Disk two partitions: -16Mb for MS-DOS (auxiliar) -the difference for FreeBSD os-bs for selecting active partition. Mitsumi CD drive: CMRC-LU005S (it worked with FreeBSD) IRQ: 5 DMA: 10 IOBase: 0x300 Floppy Disk Drive 3.5"/1.44 Mb Cirrus Logic 5424 SVGA 512 Kb 3com509 Etherlink II 16 bits IOBase: 0x280 Memory: 0xC8000
