Now that I'm most of the way up, I'm wrestling with sound . . . This thing has crystal audio sound. It indicates that games can treat it as a soundblaster for compatibility. I've set device pcm in my kernel configuration file. It kind of looks like maybe I need to include csa, but the examples given in LINT appear to be for isa cards. After reboot, I went to /dev, did a ./MAKEDEV, and now it shows fac13# ls -d /dev/pc* /dev/pcaudio /dev/pcaudioctl /dev/pci /dev/pcm /dev/pcm909 but fac13# cat /usr/local/lib/exmh-2.3.1/clink.au > /dev/pcm yields no result. am I missing something? hawk To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
