Quoting Cameron Grant <gandalf@vilnya.demon.co.uk>: > the x in "OPL-SAx" is a wildcard. with "device pcm" your > sound should work fine. I kind of suspected that the "x" was a wildcard, but the absence of a another wildcard between the "L" and the "-" led me to have second thoughts (I figured it would be "OPLn-SAx", or something similiar). Thank you *so* for the quick help. I'll take a stab at kernel recompilation this weekend, and tell you how it goes. - J.
