I'm booting Solaris off of my Jaz drive now using system commander. FreeBSD boots off the HDD and I have another Jaz drive that contains cvs, src, cvs-smp, src-smp, cvs-lite2, and src-lite2. I haven't had any real problems. I'm a little paranoid and do extra syncs and umount /jaz before I reboot though. I confused System Commander once when swapping jaz cartridges and deleting a BSD entry that appeared for the non-bootable FreeBSD partition on the Jaz. I lost partition information, but I was able to easily restore it using sysinstall without any loss of data. Regards, Mike Hancock
