Hi ! 1st tried to run the scanner under CAM, but the pt0 device doesn't seem to be supported on CAM. Then I switched back to -current, but although the scanner seems to be connected properly to the SCSI bus (adaptec device probing finds it on boot), the pt0 device doesn't show up. Instead of this the unknown device shows up. I use 2 x 2940 SCSI controller. 1st: AHA 2940 U - auto termination Boot disk, Tape and such internal ... 2nd: AHA 2940 - auto termination internal: 2 x IBM DORS, last drive terminated external: Scanner seems to have auto termination I tried to configure everything. Scanner on SCSI ID 5, 6, with only 5 MB/sec ... Nothing works. Only under CAM the scanner was recognized suring inquiry. Under -current's SCSI driver the scanner isn't recognized ... Another strange thing. If I jumper the scanner to SCSI device ID 5 it shows up on SCSI ID 0 and 5, if on 6 it shows up only on SCSI ID 6 (in the adaptec device list during boot).
