Hi, 1. uname -a # uname -a FreeBSD x.org 4.6.2-RELEASE-p2 FreeBSD 4.6.2-RELEASE-p2 #8: Sun Sep 15 05:39:35 GMT 2002 root@x.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/MYKERNEL i386 2. which mount # which mount /sbin/mount 3. file `which mount` ? i don't understand ? 4. try the mount with /dev/fd0c # mount /dev/fd0c /drives/fd grep: /etc/vfstab: No such file or directory grep: /etc/vfstab: No such file or directory mount: /dev/fd0c: Device not configured 5. if 4. fails, make sure you actually have a floppy in the drive :) ? i don't understand ?
