Hi fellow doc-ers,

As you might be aware, the doc tree will be tagged on 27 September (one
week from today) for the upcoming 4.7-RELEASE.

To make life easier for our translation teams, please consider
postponing major changes to the doc/ tree from now until after it's been
tagged; this will give them some time to catch up with recent changes.

This is not a "freeze"; it's up to those of you with commit bits to
decide when an individual change should be postponed or when it should
be committed before the release.

Thanks,

Bruce.

PS. Yes, I brought this up with a lot more advance notice last release.
On the next release (5.0!), I'd actually like to put a short, hard
freeze on the release schedule; this will eliminate surprises like this
email.
