You are probably being rejected because the IP number of your machine doesn't have a PTR record for gatehouse.quadtelecom.com: happy-idiot-talk:~:% host 66.45.116.138 138.116.45.66.IN-ADDR.ARPA domain name pointer steelcityhosting.com happy-idiot-talk:~:% host gatehouse.quadtelecom.com gatehouse.quadtelecom.com has address 66.45.116.138 gatehouse.quadtelecom.com mail is handled (pri=5) by gatehouse.quadtelecom.com That makes it look like your machine is being used to send e-mails with forged headers. That's mostly a spammer trick, hence the rejection. Either arrange for your ISP to incorporate the correct PTR data or have them delegate your netblock to you or else configure your mail system forward all your e-mail via some sort of smart host provided by your ISP.
